Necro Lord

A Diablo III concept art project for university. I painted this guy all in one sitting over about 5 hours the night before it was due, so it's kind of rushed.

Basically the necromancer on top is a kind of centipede centaur, and his centipede spine is attached to the big beastie he rides below. Once you kill the big boy his spine detaches and becomes the centipede like legs of the necromancer up top.

Overall I'm not too happy with how this turned out, it looks a little too cartoony and colourful, more in the style of Warcraft than in Diablo's tone. I'll hopefully go back into it sometime and change it
