The final for my illustration project based on Ned Kelly, done on scratch paper with a scalpel.

I submitted a version with a 'Ned Kelly' type on a banner done in photoshop but I think it takes away from the illustration. Enjoy!

Ned Kelly was an infamous Irish-Australian outlaw and to some a folk hero for his defiance of the colonial authorities. Here's en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ned_kell… (more info).

Heath Ledger (R.I.P.) portrayed Ned Kelly in the 2003 film 'Ned Kelly'. I used his www.motionpicturearmourer.com/… (pose) as a reference, as well as www.nedkellysworld.com.au/hist… (this) for the Kelly house.
